"WYATT HOLSTER bis pour les US " by SLYE

Suite à la présentation de l'étui "WYATT" sur le forum CAS US, un tireur Red Cent, nous a interrogé sur la faisabilité d'une modification de notre étui
En effet , il n'utilise pas un "cross draw" mais un ensemble "Gauche Droite"
Quand il chause l'arme de sa main faible pour la passer dans sa main forte, son index vient attrapper le bas du pontet, il faut donc que celui ci soit dégagé un maximum

I would, however suggest one thing. Elsewhere on this site is a post called Need for Speed. In tht post, one of our top shooters, Deuce Stevens speaks to what I have been preaching for years.

As an inexperienced leather person, my suggestion(s) may not be sound so forgive me if I sound silly.

When wearing a double rig (not crossdraw), the drawing of the weak hand revolver presents some attentiion. Most of us hook the little finger on the grip, the middle finger in front of the trigger guard, and the thumb on top of the receiver close to (in front) the hammer. To make it easier to draw, clearing a way to the front of the trigger guard really helps. As you can see, most all have this "shelf" that gets in the way.
To do this the welt and the holster leather must be removed. The best way woiuld be to reverse the holster and sew up the front. The only thing holding the trigger guard would be the thickmess of the leather. Or, make a very thin welt/stop close to the frame allowing access to the front of the trigger guard."

J'étais, après essai, arrivé à la même conclusion que lui sur la position des doigts sur l'arme dans la saisie "weak hand". Même si je reste cross draw pour l'instant, c'est bon de savoir que vous avez déjà travailler sur le problème.
